Realme Narzo 100x 5G Launches July 15: 8,000mAh Battery Confirmed

Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme Narzo 100x 5G will launch in India on July 15, 2026, at 12PM IST, and the headline number Realme wants you to remember is the battery: 8,000mAh. That is a genuinely large cell for a phone Realme is positioning in the ₹15,000–₹20,000 band, and it sits alongside a 144Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chip.

Realme markets that cell as the “segment’s biggest 8,000mAh battery,” but the fine print matters: the company defines “segment” narrowly as phones priced ₹15,000–₹20,000 with an 8,000mAh battery launched in 2026 up to July 15. It is a superlative crafted around the exact phone being announced, not an absolute battery record. Realme also quotes “up to 3 days” of use and “up to 26 hours of YouTube playback” — its own figures, not independently tested numbers.

Realme Narzo 100x 5G price and availability in India

Realme has confirmed the launch slot — July 15, 2026, 12PM IST — and that the phone will sell through Amazon.in and realme.com. The exact price is not confirmed yet: Realme has only committed to the ₹15,000–₹20,000 segment, with the actual sticker to be revealed at launch. It arrives close behind the iQOO Z11 Lite, another budget 5G launch this month.

Realme Narzo 100x 5G specifications

The hardware is built around the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G, paired with what Realme calls an “UltraBright” display running at 144Hz and peaking at 1,200 nits. Realme has not confirmed the screen size in inches, so treat that as unknown for now. On memory, Realme lists “up to 14GB of RAM” — but that is physical RAM plus virtual/expandable RAM, not 14GB of real memory, so temper expectations. Top storage is 256GB.

  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G
  • Display: “UltraBright” panel, 144Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits peak brightness (size not yet confirmed)
  • RAM & storage: Up to 14GB RAM (physical plus virtual RAM) and 256GB storage
  • Battery: 8,000mAh with 45W wired fast charging, plus reverse wired charging and all-scenario bypass charging
  • Rear cameras: 50MP primary AI camera plus a secondary sensor
  • Durability: IP65 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, “ArmorShell” structural protection
  • Software: Realme UI 7.0 with Gemini Live built in
  • Thickness: 8.8mm
  • Colours: Flash Orange, Midnight Black

Battery and charging

Fitting an 8,000mAh cell into an 8.8mm body is the trick Realme is showing off. Charging is 45W wired — reasonable, but expect longer top-ups than a 5,000mAh phone at the same wattage. The phone can also act as a power bank via reverse wired charging, and supports all-scenario bypass charging, which routes power straight to the chipset even while gaming to cut heat and long-term battery wear.

Cooling and gaming

Realme pairs the chip with a 5,300mm² vapor chamber and ties it to “smooth 60FPS gaming.” That is a generous cooling plate for the class, though the 60FPS target is a reminder this is budget-tier gaming, not flagship.

Durability

The Narzo 100x 5G carries an IP65 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Realme’s “ArmorShell” structural protection, described as military-grade shock resistance. Note that IP65 covers dust and low-pressure water jets but not submersion, so it is splash-safe rather than swim-safe.

Cameras and the AI Pulse Light

Photography runs off a 50MP primary AI camera with a secondary rear sensor; the front camera is unconfirmed. The unusual touch is an “AI Pulse Light” — an LED ring around the camera island with 9 colour options and 5 speed settings for notifications and effects. It is a personalisation flourish, not a functional camera upgrade.

Software and teased extras

The phone ships with Realme UI 7.0 and Gemini Live built in. Realme is also promoting a “4-Year Smooth Guarantee” — and to be clear, that is a claim about the interface staying fluid over time, not a promise of four years of OS or security updates; Realme has not confirmed any update-policy numbers for this phone. It has also teased an “AI Cold Mode” without explaining what it does, so we will hold off on guessing until launch.
