A new leak suggests that OPPO is working on a new smartphoneR9S which is likely to be an upgraded version of OPPO R9 and is expected to be unveiled in August this year, following the Oppo tradition of launching a “S” version after the first launch, which they followed by launching Oppo R7S after Oppo R7 last year.
Oppo R9S is expected to come with Super VOOC charging technology which can fully charge the battery of the smartphone in just 15 minutes. The battery capacity of the R9S is expected as 2500 mAh as seen in the image reproduced above. With this launch, R9S will be the first official implementation of the Super VOOC charging technology in their smartphones.
At the moment we have no further information about R9S specifications, but rumors suggests that it will be powered by Qualcomm Processor.
