Oppo has announced yet another A-series phone in India, this time with the Oppo A53s 5G. It’s a rebranded version of the Oppo A55 5G that was announced earlier this year in China.
The A53s 5G flaunts a 6.5-inches HD+ LCD display, and has an 8MP selfie lens with an f/2.0 aperture that’s placed in a water-drop notch. The phone runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on on Android 11, and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
The Oppo A53s 5G has triple cameras on the back, comprising a 13MP primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor and an 2MP portrait sensor, both with an f/.4 aperture.
The device has 128GB of storage, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB of expandable storage. The Oppo A53s 5G is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that can be topped up using a USB Type-C port. The phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo A53s 5G has been priced at Rs. 14,990 for the 6GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB model costs Rs. 16,990. The device will be available in 2 colours: Crystal Blue and Ink Black. The phone goes on sale at 12PM on May 2nd, at Flipkart.
