Here is a promotional video where OnePlus plays a prank on Vice President and Country Manager of Amazon India, Mr. Amit Agarwal.
If you thought the flash sales of Xiaomi were bad, let me tell you that the OnePlus’ system is even worse. They use an invite system, and only users who have an invite can buy the phone. Basically what this means is, they are low on stocks, so they can only sell it to a limited number of people, hence the invite system.
You can win an Invite for the OnePlus One, by subscribing to their newsletter. The winners will be chosen randomly. The good news is, the invite is valid for 48 hours, which is plenty of time, should you choose to buy the device. To read more about the invite system, read the terms and conditions here.
The OnePlus One will be available for purchase exclusively from Amazon.in (with invites) starting December 2, 2014.
