OnePlus has officially announced the launch date of the OnePlus 2.
The upcoming flagship device, is launching next month.
But here is the interesting part, the OnePlus 2 will be launched in Virtual Reality. The company’s CEO, Carl Pei, says that the launch event would be streamed live on July 27th at 7:00 PM (PT).
The company will be announcing how to get a OnePlus Cardboard virtual reality headset, which will allow users to experience the launch from a new perspective. It will allow users to stand next to the OnePlus team during the launch and will let users look around too, in addition to viewing the phone.
OnePlus has also announced that winners of its recent contests will help them with the launch.
The OnePlus 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1, which is cooler than the regular version of the processor. The Two, will also come with a USB Type-C port, the images of which were released yesterday.
