Nothing will launch the Phone (4b) in India on July 7 at 3:30 PM IST, and the global debut happens at the same event. The company has already put up a pre-launch page on Flipkart, which also confirms where the phone will be sold once it goes official. This is the first phone in Nothing’s new b-series, which slots below the Phone (4a) as the company’s most affordable line yet.

Nothing Phone (4b): what is confirmed so far
Two things are official ahead of the event. First, the Phone (4b) will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset — Nothing has confirmed the vendor but is saving the exact model for launch day. Second, the design is no longer a secret: Nothing’s own render shows the phone in a bright blue finish with a two-part rear panel. The top section around the camera plateau keeps the brand’s semi-transparent look, while the lower half switches to a plain matte finish. There are two rear cameras in a pill-shaped module, a red block that lights up during video recording, and a compact Glyph Bar — the slim strip of white LED segments that handles notifications, charging progress and app alerts, replacing the larger Glyph Interface of older Nothing phones.
An RCB edition for India
Alongside the standard phone, Nothing has announced a Royal Challengers Bengaluru special edition as part of a two-year partnership with the IPL team. It comes in a bright RCB-jersey red with the team’s logo on the back panel and contrasting black buttons. This one will not be sold online: it goes on sale in limited quantities at Nothing’s Bengaluru store on launch day, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Expected specifications (leaks, not confirmed)
The rest of the spec sheet comes from leaks and a Geekbench sighting, so treat it as unconfirmed until Monday. The benchmark listing, first reported by 91mobiles, points to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with 8GB of RAM, running Nothing OS based on Android 16. Other reported specs include:
- Display: 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
- Chipset: Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 (per Geekbench; Nothing has only confirmed “Snapdragon”)
- RAM/Storage: 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage
- Cameras: dual rear setup with a 50MP main sensor
- Battery: 5,400mAh
- Software: Nothing OS on Android 16
Price and what to watch on July 7
Nothing has not announced pricing. Reports place the Phone (4b) between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, comfortably below the Phone (4a), which would make it the cheapest way into Nothing’s lineup in India. The other detail worth listening for at the event is the software support promise — Nothing’s original Phone (1) just received its final update after three OS upgrades and four years of patches, a shorter run than what Samsung and Google now offer, so the (4b)’s update commitment will matter as much as its price tag.
