Moto E did capture a large portion of the entry level smartphone market forcing other manufacturers to match it with similar Android smartphones. We already have seen many OEMs launching similar devices in that price range, like Xolo Q600s, Micromax Unite 2. ASUS too has now joined this bandwagon and introduced Zenfone 4 (two variants) priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6,999. In this post, we will look at these Zenfone 4 models in comparison to Moto E in terms of Hardware specifications.

Moto E Vs ASUS ZenFone 4

In terms of Display, Moto E with a resolution of 960 x 540 Pixels still outperform both the Zenfone 4 variants (which come with 854×480 pixels and 800×480 pixels resolution respectively). Similarly, The size of the screen is 4.3 inch for Moto E while the zenfone 4 comes in 4 inch and 4.5 inch sizes.

The devices are powered by 1.2 GHZ dual-core processors with the difference being the manufacturer. ASUS zenfone 4 devices are powered by Intel Atom CPUs whereas the Moto E is powered by Qualcom snapdragon. We cannot be sure of which of these performs better compared to other unless we get some benchmark scores or do a side by side comparison.

Motorola Moto E still comes with a bigger battery and better access to Android operating system updates, whereas with ASUS we are not so sure about the future updates.

Moto E though comes with just 4 GB of internal memory whereas Zenfone 4 comes with 8 GB of internal memory.

Checkout the table below to find out how Motorola Moto E Vs ASUS ZenFone 4 fare in terms of Hardware Specifications.
