The enrollment threads went live on Lenovo’s official community forum, and slots are limited — if you own one of these phones and want early access, sign up before they fill.

Each device has its own registration thread on the Lenovo community forum. Motorola accepts a limited number of beta testers per device, and once those slots are filled, registration closes.
What the Beta Brings
Android 17 beta introduces a redesigned notification panel and control center, new lock screen clock faces, an updated Settings interface, a new volume mixer, and expanded Live Activities that now work with phone calls, music playback, and the torch. Motorola has not yet published a full changelog specific to its devices — that typically arrives closer to the stable release.
Before You Install
A few standard warnings apply. Beta software is inherently unstable and may contain bugs that affect daily use. Motorola recommends backing up all important data before installing and charging your device to at least 50 percent. If your phone is your only daily driver, weigh whether early access to Android 17 features is worth the risk of the occasional crash or app incompatibility.
The breadth of this wave is worth noting. Motorola is not limiting Android 17 beta to flagships — budget phones like the Moto G 2025 and Moto G Play 2026 are included, which is a stronger commitment to mid-range software support than some competing OEMs offer at this stage of the Android release cycle.
This is a separate development from the GrapheneOS partnership Motorola announced earlier this year, which targets future hardware, not current devices.
