We have some exciting news for the people who have been eagerly anticipating the launch of the Moto G in India.
Flipkart have announced that the stunning phone will be available through their website soon.
While Flipkart haven’t given us a concrete date, Motorola’s Twitter account had recently said that the information about the Moto G’s Indian launch will be made available on February 5th.
We are five days away from the date, but the tease has already begun. And rumors around the internet say that Motorola delayed the launch of the mobile because they could not find retailers to sell the phones in India. But the truth could be they did not have enough service centers, in case of malfunctioning devices.
I spoke to a Motorola representative a few weeks ago, an he confirmed that the device will be available via local retailers and online ones.
They could have also delayed it till the acquisition by Lenovo was finalised. Either way, the mobile looks set to hit the Indian market soon.
Flipkart have also said that there will be some offers when the mobile will be launched. It could be anything from EMI offers, or a percentage of cashback offer or even free gifts.
They do mention that the phone’s price will be exceptional, so we hope that they offer it for around 12,000-15,000 INR.
