LG L90 announced with Snapdragon 400 and 4.7-inch qHD IPS display

LG Electronics (LG) announced the launch LG L90 smartphone in its popular L Series III family. LG L90 sports a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 & pixel density of 235 ppi. The device is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Quad-Core MSM8226 processor popularly known as Snapdragon 400 along with 1 GB of RAM. Use of Snapdragon 400 along with 1 GB of RAM easily puts it in the moderate range of smartphone for price sensitive customers in emerging markets.

LG_L90_Global_debut_01In terms of Operating system, the device runs the latest version of Android i.e Android 4.4 KitKat. In terms of storage, the device comes with 8 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable memory using microSD cards up to 64 GB.

Depending on the market it is released, the device will come with either of 8.0 MP or 5.0 MP Auto-focus rear camera and a 1.3 MP front camera. LG though is yet to disclose which markets will carry 8 MP and which one will carry 5 MP rear camera. We will update you as and when we hear about it.

The device is powered by a high capacity 2,540mAh battery.

The LG L90 will be available initially in the CIS region followed by other markets around the world. We are yet to hear any information about the pricing though.
