Poweramp Music Player is one of the best music apps available for Android devices. Did you know it is highly customizable? We show you how to increase the audio volume in Poweramp Music Player.

How to increase the audio volume in Poweramp Music Player

Warning: Listening to music at loud levels can be harmful for your hearing. Please set your headphones’ volume to a moderate level to prevent permanent damage to your auditory senses.

Let’s get to the steps you need to follow to increase the loudness of your songs.

How to increase the audio volume in Poweramp Music Player

1. Play any song in Poweramp Music Player.

2. Tap on the Equalizer button at the bottom of the screen.

3. Tap on the oblong button below the sliders, it represents the equalizer mode that is currently selected.

4. Scroll down the options, and tap on Loud (Speaker).

That’s it. You should notice that the overall volume level of the audio that you are listening to, is louder than before. This can be particularly useful when you want to listen to a song, or a recording that has a low volume. You can manually adjust the Bass and Treble levels using the knobs at the bottom of the screen.

How does it work? The Loud Speaker option in Poweramp Music Player adjusts the pre-amp setting, to boost the track’s audio level to a higher decibel limit. This can also be achieved by increasing the gain manually. It is worth noting that this can result in sound distortion at high levels. Speaking of presets, all profiles that are available in Poweramp are customizable, and you can save your own presets too. You can experiment with the settings per your requirements to tweak the audio output to your liking.

Now, you know how to increase the audio volume in Poweramp Music Player, and tweak the equalizer. Want even more options to play with? Head to the app’s settings > Audio section, and you will be able to adjust the Replay Gain, Direct Volume Control (DVC) and more options.

How to customize the audio settings in Poweramp Music Player

Poweramp Music Player is a premium app, it has a free trial version, but we recommend buying the full version of the app from the Google Play Store.
