Google to launch two Nexus phones on September 29th

We have reported about the upcoming Google Nexus phones many times.

And now it appears, that the launch date of the devices has been leaked as well.

According to CNET, Google will be holding a Nexus event on September 29th in San Francisco. This is where the LG Nexus 5 2015, and the Huawei Nexus 6 are touted to be launched.

The report says that the LG Nexus phone will be a smaller variant, while the Huawei Nexus will be larger, a phablet. From previous leaks, we can tell you that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808  processor with 3GB RAM, and an Adreno 418 GPU. It will feature a 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front camera.

The Huawei Nexus 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, and features a rear camera with Laser Focus and Dual LED Flash. Both 2015 Nexus phones will come with dual front facing speakers, a USB Type C port, and fingerprint scanners. The LG Nexus 5 2015 and the Huawei Nexus 6 will be the first phones to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
