A few weeks ago, we told you about Gmail 5.0, which will allow you to use any email service.
Well, it is now official and you can download the APK to update the Gmail app.
The app has received a makeover for the Material Design UI. Even the icon has been changed. And they have also added support for Exchange Email. If you have used the new Google Inbox App, you will find that the Gmail 5.0 app is almost identical to it.

Google is yet to roll out the update, sow you can just go ahead and download it from the mirror provided by Android Police. The file is about 9 mb in size and has the following MD5 Checksum value:

You can install it on any device running Android 4.0 or above, and it will update the existing app.
