Just a few seek backs, Gionee launched two new smartphones Gionee M7 and M7 Power in China. Out of these two smartphones, M7 Power is scheduled to be launched in India today at a launch event in Delhi. Now, a third model in the M series has surfaced on Benchmarking portal Antutu which seems to be a mid-range smartphone with different hardware specifications from M7 and M7 Power.
Based on the Antutu Benchmark listing, Gionee M7 Plus sports an 18:9 Display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with Adreno 512 GPU. If you remember, Gionee M7 is powered by MediaTek Helio P30 processor whereas M7 Power is powered by Snapdragon 435 processor. M7 Plus comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system. Unfortunately, the Antutu benchmark doesn’t reveal details about the camera sensors at front and rear. The device scores 103367 on Antutu benchmark which confirms the mid-range capabilities.
At the moment we do not other details about M7 Plus, though rumours suggest a screen size of 6.43 inches and may feature a dual camera module at the rear.
