Gionee S11 Renders leak, confirm 16MP + 8MP selfie cameras and 16MP + 5MP Rear Camera

Gionee is set to officially Unveil Gionee S11 on November 26. Eve though TENAA lists some variants of Gionee S11 variants, yet there is some confusion in terms of the camera specifications of the upcoming device which is expected to bring dual camera modules both at front and rear, making it a total of four cameras in a smartphone. Based on TENAA listing, Gionee S11 is equipped with a pair of 16-megapixel dual-cameras on the back, and a combination of 20MP + 8MP dual front cameras. But today’s leak suggests otherwise.

Androidpure has received an anonymous tip which comes in the form of a promotional poster of Gionee S11 which reveals that the new smartphone is equipped with four cameras and a full screen or Full View display. Based on the promotional poster, Gionee S11 comes with a 5.99 inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and hence a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. In terms of camera, Gionee S11 sports a 16MP FF (fixed focus) + 8MP dual camera module as its selfie camera, while on the rear the phone features another dual camera module consisting of 16MP AF (autofocus) + 5MP camera sensors.

The promotional poster also reveals that Gionee S11 comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Another poster reveals the marketing tagline of S11 i.e. “Four Lens Full View” and three colours of the device i.e. Pink, Blue and Black/grey.

Apart from the hardware details confirmed above, Gionee S11 is expected to be powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor along with a 4GB RAM variant in addition to 6Gb RAM variant. The phone may be backed by a 3600 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system.

At the moment, we got no clue about the pricing details of the device. We will keep tracking this until the official launch. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.

Edit: We removed the term Exclusive as we found that it’s available in public domain on Facebook Thailand page.
