A new smartphone from Gionee i.e. Gionee A1 has leaked revealing technical specifications of the device along with device images. Gionee A1 seems to be a new series of smartphones from the company as there is no A series of smartphones and this may be the first one in new series from Gionee, if the leak is true. As per the leak, Gionee A1 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p 2.5D display with Gorilla Glass protection, powered by 4 GB of RAM. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa core processor. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB.
It runs on Gionee’s Amigo OS 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. In terms of camera, it comes with a 16 MP front shooter along with LED flash for selfies and a 13 MP main rear camera with LED flash. It comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the front home button and includes support for IR remote controller. The device is backed by a 4010 mAh battery along with a 18W charger which indicates support for fast charging.
