Realme as a company has been on roll since it launched their first smartphone Realme 1 in the second half of 2018 and till date have launched smartphones in India i.e. Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1 and Realme U1. Out of these, Realme C1 was the lowest priced smartphone for the entry-level smartphone segment in India.

It appears that Realme is set to announce a new entry-level smartphone series with Realme A1 being the first device in that series. Droidshout reports that the company may soon launch an all-new smartphone series aimed at first-time smartphone buyers suggesting Realme’s next entry-level smartphone may launch as the Realme A1. At the moment, Realme C1 is priced at Rs.7,499  and hence the upcoming Realme A1 may be priced closer to the Rs.6,000 putting it into the same category of devices such as Xiaomi Redmi 6A.
