If you own a Nexus 4 and have waited to get your hands on Official Cyanogenmod 13 builds ( based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow) for Nexus 4, then here is some good news. First official Cyanogenmod 13 nightly build for Nexus 4 (mako) is now available for download. Before this, there were few other custom ROMs available for Nexus 4, but no official builds from Cyanogen.

The official nightly build comes with file size of 277.01 MB with a build date of 22nd December. If you are comfortable with flashing custom ROMs, rooting the device etc then you can go flash this nightly  build to get a taste of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Nexus 4. You can download the nightly build here.

We already know that Google is not going to offer any more updates to Nexus 4 anymore including the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The official Nightly from Cyanogen is an important milestone for old Nexus 4. Hopefully the device can still get many more android updates, though not officially from Google.
