Few hours back, we reported that Xiaomi may be working on a mini or compact variant of its Mi Mix bezelless smartphone launch few weeks back, thanks to leaking of few alleged images of 5.5 inch Mi Mix variant code-named Nano. The leak also suggested possible hardware specifications of the compact variant i.e. upcoming Xiaomi “Nano” sports a 5.5 inch display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Whereas, the existing Mi Mix sports a 6.4 inch edgeless display with 91.3% screen-to-body ratio, powered by 2.35 GHz Snapdragon 821 with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB /256GB storage running MIUI 8 .
Now Androidpure has spotted a new image originating on Chinese social network Weibo which reveals the “About Phone” Screen of alleged Xiaomi Nano revealing some of the basic hardware configuration and confirming the code name Nano. As per this leaked “About Phone” image, Xiaomi Nano is powered by 2.35 GHz Snapdragon 821 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The image basically confirms some of the earlier rumors of specifications of the device including revealing the CPU frequency of 2.35 GHz.
