ASUS has announced their range of Zenpad tablets during the Zen Festival in August and now the company has announced their availability in India. There are three variants available for the device i.e. ZenPad 8.0, ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad C 7.0. These devices will be available for sale at ASUS exclusive stores and on Flipkart. Out of these three variants, ZenPad 7.0 is already available, where as ZenPad 8.0 and ZenPad C 7.0 will be available from October end.
ZenPad 7.0 sports a 7-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by Intel Atom x3-C3230 Quad Core Processor. It comes with an internal memory of 16 GB, an 8 MP main camera with auto-focus, manual mode, IR filter and a 2 MP front camera.
ZenPad 8.0 sports a 8 inch display and is powered by Qualcomm MSM8929 64-bit Octa Core Processor along with 2 GB of RAM. IN terms of storage, it comes with 8 / 16 GB of in-built storage along with support for expandable memory via microSD card (up to 128 GB). It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with ASUS own ZenUI. The device has an 8 MP auto-focus main camera and a 2 MP front camera with 140 degree selfie panorama. It comes with 3450 mAh / 13Wh Li-polymer battery. It comes with Micro-SIM and support GPRS/ EDGE and 3G via SIM. Available in two colours – Obsidian Black and Aurora Metallic, ZenPad 8.0 is priced at INR 17,999 with audio cover and INR 14,999 without audio cover.
ZenPad C 7.0sports a 7 inch display and is powered by Intel 64-bit x3-C3230 Quad-core Processor. The device has a 5 MP main camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. ZenPad C 7.0 comes in three colors – Obsidian Black, Glamour Red, Aurora Metallic and is available for INR 8,999.
