Asus unveiled Zenfone 4 Max smartphone quietly in Russia without unveiling the standard variant Zenfone 4 and other variants. The company is yet to announce any official launch date of the next generation of Zenfone series i.e. Zenfone 4, but reports coming from Taiwan indicate that Zenfone 4 is set to be officially launched on August 17 in Taiwan followed by launch in other countries in coming weeks.
Rumors suggests that Asus is going to announce at least five Models in Zenfone 4 series, out of which we have already seen the Zenfone 4 Max being unveiled officially. The other four models left to be unveiled are:
- ZenFone 4 – ZE554KL
- ZenFone 4 Pro – Z01GD
- ZenFone 4 Selfie – Z01M
- ZenFone 4V V – 520KL/A006
Out of these models, ZenFone 4 Selfie – Z01M has surfaced on Gfxbench, which reveals that it sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU. It is packed with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system with ZenUI on top of it. In terms of camera, Zenfone 4 Selfie sports a 16 MP main rear camera and another 12 MP front shooter for selfies.
Whereas the already unveiled Asus Zenfone 4 Max sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p IPS display, powered by 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 /430 Mobile Platform along with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB / 64GB internal storage , expandable up to 256GB with microSD. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) based operating system with Zen UI 3.0 on top. In terms of camera, it comes with a dual camera setup at rear consisting of 13 MP camera sensor and secondary camera sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens, EIS. On the front, you have a 8 MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture, 85-degree wide-angle lens and soft LED flash.
