The Android Pie Update for Realme 2 Pro has been released. The news comes straight from the horse’s mouth.

Realme CEO, Madhav Seth, took to Twitter to announce the release of the update. The rollout fulfils part of the promise that the company made in December 2018.

To recap, Realme had declared that it would be updating all of its devices to Android Pie by the end of June 2019. The Realme 2 Pro was launched in September 2018, with ColorOS 5.2 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Chroma Boost Mode and HAL3 support have been added to the camera app. You will need to enable developer options for the latter.

The Android Pie Update for Realme 2 Pro weighs about 2.61GB to download. The update is being seeded, and will be rolled out in batches. But if you can’t wait for it, the company says you can download the Pie Update manually from the official website.
