Fans of text adventures, rejoice. The brilliant text role-playing game A Dark Room is now available on Google Play. The game which was developed by Michael Townsend, was originally a web browser game.
Later, in 2013, Dallas based developer, Amir Rajan, and Townsend ported the game to iOS devices, where it ruled the app store ratings as a best seller.
And now it is available for Android devices. It is difficult to describe what the game is about, you have to play it to get an idea. Try the web based version, it is fully playable and free.
Basically, you start in a dark room, with a fire as your only companion, and it is up to you to survive.
The change-logs for the game are often very interesting and humorous.
