The Moto Tag 2 no longer costs $19.99. Motorola’s Ultra-Wideband tracker is back at its $29.99 list price on Amazon US and Motorola.com, as of October 20.
The lower price was a limited-time launch discount, so this is the regular price returning. If you were waiting to grab one at $19.99, that window has closed. Each tag now costs $10 more.

Moto Tag 2 price in the US
- Single tag, new (current): $29.99 on Amazon and Motorola.com, including the PANTONE Laurel Oak colour on Motorola’s store
- Single tag, launch promotion (ended): $19.99
- Four-pack, launch promotion: $69.99, per Android Headlines
9to5Google reported on October 19 that the $19.99 price had disappeared from both Motorola’s site and Amazon. Our own check of both stores on October 20 shows $29.99 for a single tag.
Amazon also lists a used single tag at $18.99. That is a used marketplace offer, not the new-unit price, so don’t mistake it for the old discount.
What the Moto Tag 2 is
The Moto Tag 2 is an Ultra-Wideband tracker that works with Google’s Find Hub network. It went on sale in the US in summer 2026 through Amazon and Motorola.com.
9to5Google frames the price change as Motorola positioning the tracker to compete with Google’s own Pixel Tag. That is the outlet’s reading, not a statement from Motorola or Google.
Should you buy the Moto Tag 2 at $29.99?
The math has changed for anyone buying several tags. During the launch promotion, the $69.99 four-pack worked out to about $17.50 per tag. A single tag now costs $29.99, roughly $12.50 more than that per-tag figure.
We haven’t confirmed the current four-pack price, so check it before you order. If you need one tag for your keys or bag, $29.99 is the price today. If you were holding out for $19.99, that offer is gone.
Samsung’s tracker is another option if you’re shopping around. The company has confirmed the Galaxy SmartTag3 works on non-Galaxy Android phones.
