The OnePlus N6 Lite is now official in India at Rs 16,999, and the spec that stands out is the one on the inside. It runs a Unisoc T7250, a chipset brand OnePlus has largely stayed away from across its lineup so far. That makes this launch a shift in where OnePlus is willing to take its budget N-series, not just another cheap phone with a big battery.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus N6 Lite is priced at Rs 16,999 in India. It is listed as available now on OnePlus India’s own product page. There is a single configuration, with no separate RAM or storage tiers announced. Two colours are offered: Midnight Black and Neo Green.
The Unisoc chip and the 4G catch
The T7250 is the headline compromise, but it is not the only one. The N6 Lite is a 4G-only phone. At Rs 16,999 in 2026, that is a real limitation, and it is worth weighing before the feature list wins you over.
Charging is the other soft spot. The battery is a large 7,000mAh pack, but wired charging tops out at 15W. Filling a cell that size at that rate takes a long time. Reverse wired charging is rated at just 5W.
OnePlus will point to the rugged credentials and the long runtime here, and both are genuine. Our view is that they do not cancel out the trade. A buyer at this price is accepting a lower silicon tier and no 5G in exchange. The headphone jack and microSD slot are nice to have, but they are not compensation for the connectivity you are giving up.

How it sits next to the N6 and N6x
This is a third distinct model in the N-series, not a rename of anything. The OnePlus N6 uses a Dimensity 6360 Max with an 8,000mAh battery. The N6x runs a Dimensity 6360 Apex. The N6 Lite sits below both, and the chipset is the clearest line separating it from its siblings.
