Nothing’s follow-up to its first over-ear headphones is reportedly landing later this month. A new leak, credited to French deal-tracking site Dealabs, points to a September 29 launch for the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro. Expected pricing is around €349 in Europe and $399 in the US.
Nothing has not confirmed any of these details. Treat the specs below as unverified until the company announces the product itself.
What’s Reportedly New
The Headphone (1) Pro reportedly keeps Nothing’s signature semi-transparent design, in the usual black and white options. It reportedly moves to an aluminum shell with scratch-resistant glass, plus an IP52 rating for light dust and water resistance. The bigger change is inside: a three-driver setup that splits audio across separate frequency ranges. The high-frequency driver is said to use xMEMS, a solid-state silicon micro-speaker rather than a traditional moving-coil design.
The leak also claims tuning input from Metropolis Studios in London, plus Hi-Res Audio certification and LDAC support. A Flat EQ option is said to offer a neutral sound profile as an alternative to Nothing’s usual tuning. On the noise-cancellation side, ten microphones are said to power adaptive ANC, with a transparency mode for hearing your surroundings when needed.
Connectivity and Battery
Reported connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.1 alongside a 3.5mm jack. That keeps wired listening as a backup if the battery runs out or Bluetooth isn’t practical. Battery life is claimed at up to 60 hours with fast charging. That figure is Nothing’s best-case number, and real-world use with ANC running will likely be lower.
None of this is official yet. Nothing typically confirms hardware close to launch rather than months in advance. If the September 29 date holds, buyers should still wait for Nothing’s own specification sheet. That is especially true for the battery claim and the exact ANC performance, which leaks rarely get precisely right.
