realme P4s 5G Launched in India at Rs 34,999 With an 8,000mAh Battery

The realme P4s 5G has launched in India starting at ₹34,999, and the headline number on the spec sheet is the battery: 8,000mAh with 80W wired charging, in a phone that still weighs 208g and measures 8.6mm thick. It goes on sale from 3 September through Flipkart and realme.com. We covered the launch date and teased specs last week; the price ladder is now on the record.

realme P4s 5G price in India

  • 8GB + 128GB — ₹34,999
  • 8GB + 256GB — ₹37,999
  • 12GB + 256GB — ₹41,999

Those are the market operating prices. realme is also running a ₹3,000 bank offer and up to 12 months of no-cost EMI, which brings the effective prices down to ₹31,999, ₹34,999 and ₹38,999 respectively — but only if your card is on the eligible list, and bank offers expire. The ₹34,999 figure is the one to plan around. Note also that the ₹3,000 discount is flat across all three variants, so it shaves 8.6% off the base model and 7.1% off the top one; the cheapest variant gets the best of it.

Sales start 3 September on Flipkart and realme.com. As of 26 August, realme’s own India product page for the P4s still lists no price.

realme P4s 5G specifications

The P4s pairs a genuinely large battery with a mid-range Dimensity chip rather than a flagship one, which is a reasonable trade at this price — though at ₹41,999 the top variant is knocking on the door of phones with considerably more silicon behind them.

  • Display — 6.78-inch AMOLED, 2772×1272, 144Hz, up to 6,500 nits local peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3, AGC DT star D+ glass
  • Processor — MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, 4nm, octa-core up to 2.6GHz, Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, plus a separate HyperVision+ chip for frame-rate upscaling and AI resolution enhancement
  • Memory — 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, up to 14GB virtual RAM
  • Software — Android 16 with realme UI 7.0, with 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates promised
  • Rear camera — 50MP with OIS, f/1.8, plus an 8MP ultra-wide, f/2.2; 4K 30fps video
  • Front camera — 16MP, f/2.4, 1080p 30fps
  • Battery — 8,000mAh typical, 80W wired charging, realme claims 50% in 28 minutes
  • Durability — IP66, IP68 and IP69 rated
  • Connectivity — 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C 2.0, infrared, in-display optical fingerprint reader
  • Build — 162.6×77.6×8.6mm, 208g, 7,000mm² vapour chamber, turquoise/green and light gold/beige finishes co-created with Pearl Academy

Where the value actually sits

Three OS updates and four years of security patches is the number worth checking against the price. It is a reasonable commitment for a ₹34,999 phone, but it means a P4s bought in September 2026 stops getting Android versions after Android 19. Buyers who keep phones for four or five years should factor that in rather than assume the 8,000mAh battery makes it a long-hold device.

The other thing to weigh is that the base ₹34,999 model ships with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of RAM. On a phone whose pitch is heavy use — big battery, 144Hz panel, gaming-oriented upscaling chip — 128GB fills up fast, and the jump to 256GB costs ₹3,000. That is the more sensible buy if you are stretching to this price at all.
