OPPO has officially launched the A7 Pro Max in China with pricing starting at CNY 2,199 (approximately $305) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone goes on sale August 7 at 10:00 AM China time. China’s national consumer electronics subsidy (“guobu”) brings the effective prices down further: roughly CNY 1,869, 2,294, and 2,549 respectively. These are state-funded subsidies, not OPPO promotions — availability depends on the buyer’s local subsidy allocation.
Early buyers during the launch window also get OPPO Enco R5 Bluetooth earbuds, a two-year screen-crack warranty, and a one-year water-damage warranty bundled in.

The A7 Pro Max’s headline feature is its 10,000mAh single-cell battery rated for 1,500 charge cycles at 80% health retention, paired with 80W proprietary fast charging and 27W reverse charging. It runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display at 120Hz. Camera setup includes a 50MP OIS main sensor, a 2MP mono lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. The phone carries IP69K/69/68/66 ratings and ships with ColorOS 16 on Android 16.
One notable omission for 2026: the A7 Pro Max supports only Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), not Wi-Fi 6 or 6E. At a price point where competitors like the Redmi Note 15 Pro offer Wi-Fi 6, this is a real connectivity gap that OPPO chose to accept in favour of the battery and durability package. Buyers who regularly transfer large files over local wireless or depend on congested home networks will feel that trade-off.
Three colours are available: “Riding the Wind” (a 3D relief-textured finish), “Sunrise Orange,” and “Distant Mountain Black.”
