Redmi 17 4G Quietly Goes on Sale in Poland Before Xiaomi Even Announces It
The Xiaomi Redmi 17 4G has appeared on a Polish retailer’s shelves before Xiaomi has officially unveiled the phone anywhere — including China. Listings on euro.com.pl show two storage variants with pricing in Polish zloty, making this the first concrete retail pricing for a device that has, until now, existed only in leaks and certification filings.

Pricing and Availability
The Polish listings price the Redmi 17 4G at PLN 900 (roughly 210 euros) for the 4 GB / 128 GB variant and PLN 1,100 (roughly 255 euros) for the 4 GB / 256 GB model. Both are available in Blue and Green. These figures come in below the 250/280 euro estimates that had circulated in earlier leaks, which is a pleasant surprise for a budget phone that packs a 7,500 mAh battery.
There is no word on wider European availability or India pricing. Xiaomi has not even confirmed the Redmi 17 4G exists yet — for context, the Redmi Note 17 series launches in India on August 6, but the base Redmi 17 is a separate, lower-tier line.
Specifications
The specs come from a combination of the Polish retailer listing and an earlier leak verified by GSMArena:
- Display: 6.9-inch, 120 Hz refresh rate
- Chipset: MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra
- RAM / Storage: 4 GB / 128 GB or 4 GB / 256 GB (a 6 GB / 256 GB variant has appeared in earlier leaks but is not in the Polish listing)
- Battery: 7,500 mAh with 45W wired charging
- Rear camera: 50 MP main sensor
- Front camera: 8 MP
- OS: Android 16-based HyperOS 3
- Biometrics: Side-mounted fingerprint scanner
- Other: NFC, 232 g, 8.8 mm thick
- Colors: Black, Deep Blue, Lotus Purple, Oak Green (Blue and Green confirmed in Poland)
The 7,500 mAh battery is the standout. European variants of Xiaomi phones sometimes ship with smaller batteries than their Chinese counterparts, so the fact that this capacity made it to the Polish listing intact is worth noting — budget buyers looking for endurance over performance will find this hard to beat at the 210-euro mark.
Since Xiaomi has not officially announced the Redmi 17 4G, treat these details as pre-release and subject to change. But a live retail listing with real pricing is about as close to confirmed as an unannounced phone gets.
