Moto G77 Power launched in India: Price, Specs, and 7,000mAh Battery

Motorola launched the Moto G77 Power in India today, July 8, 2026, and the pitch is right there in the name: a 7,000mAh battery that the company rates for up to three days of typical use. It is the biggest battery in Motorola’s sub-₹30,000 range in India, paired with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera. The phone is a Flipkart exclusive, priced at ₹25,999 for its single 8GB + 128GB configuration.

Moto G77 Power price and availability in India

The Moto G77 Power costs ₹25,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There is a ₹2,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank and Axis Bank credit cards, or an equivalent ₹2,000 exchange bonus, which brings the effective price down to ₹23,999. Sales begin on July 13, 2026 from 12 PM IST across Flipkart, Motorola.in, and offline retail stores.

It comes in three Pantone-curated shades — Pantone Fuchsia Red, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Impenetrable (black) — all with a vegan leather back.

Worth flagging honestly: at ₹25,999, this is a noticeable step up from where Motorola’s G-series Power phones have historically launched. TechLusive and other outlets called out the increase, which Motorola attributes to rising component costs across the budget segment. So while the battery headline is genuinely strong, buyers upgrading from an older G Power should expect to pay more this year for it.

Moto G77 Power specifications

Beyond the battery, the G77 Power runs a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 with 5G, and gets a 6.72-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LCD that hits up to 1050 nits and is covered by Gorilla Glass 7i. Charging is 30W TurboPower wired, plus 6W reverse wired to top up accessories. Durability is covered by an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, and Motorola has kept the 3.5mm headphone jack alongside dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

One area the reader should weigh carefully is software support. The phone ships on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI, but Motorola commits to just one major OS upgrade (to Android 17) and three years of security updates. That is short by 2026 standards — the similarly-positioned Samsung Galaxy M47 5G, another large-battery budget phone launched days earlier, promises six years of updates. If you keep phones for a long time, that gap matters.
