Moto Tab G62 Wi-Fi and Tab G62 LTE with 2K display launched in India

Motorola has announced the Moto Tab G62 in India. Here is everything you need to know about the affordable tablet.

The Moto Tab G62 sports a 10.6-inches 2K TDDI IPS LCD, the screen supports a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, a 16:10 Aspect Ratio, and is certified for TÜV Rheinland low light/blue light solution.

The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB of internal storage and supports up to 1TB of additional memory via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device runs on Android 12 out of the box, and is backed by a 7,700 mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging, via USB Type-C port. The tablet has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Quad speakers, and supports Dolby Atmos Audio.

The main camera on the rear panel of the tablet is an 8 megapixels sensor that supports Auto-Focus, 1080P video recording @30fps. The selfie lens on the Moto Tab G62 is an 8MP front camera that supports 1080p video recording with 30fps, and Face Unlock.

The Motorola Tab G62 measures 251.2 x 158.8 x 7.45mm, and weighs 465g. It is rated IP52 for water resistance. The tablet will be available in 2 variants, one which has a single Nano SIM slot that supports 4G LTE mobile networks, and a Wi-Fi only model. The device also supports Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac | 2.4GHz/5GHz | Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, Beidou, and Glonass location services. Sensors on the tab include an Accelerometer, an Ambient Light sensor, a Hall Sensor, a Vibrator, and a Gyroscope.

Moto Tab G62 price in India

Motorola has priced the Moto tab G62 Wi-Fi model at Rs. 15,999 in India, while the LTE Edition carries a price tag of Rs. 17,999. The 4G variant will be available for purchase from August 17th on Flipkart, while the 4G LTE version will go on sale from August 22nd. Both variants come in a single colour, Frost Blue.
