OnePlus Ace with 150W fast charging goes official in China

The OnePlus Ace has been announced in China. The high-end phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 150W SUPERVOOC fast-charging, via a USB Type-C port.

The display on the OnePlus Ace is a 6.7 inches AMOLED Full HD+ panel with an adaptive regresh rate of 60/90/120Hz. The screen has a pixel density of 394 PPI, a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 93.4% Screen-to-body ratio, 1000000: 1 Contrast Ratio, 950 nits brightness, and supports Always On Display.

The handset runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor clocked at 2.85GHz, with an ARM-Mali G610 to handle the graphics. The phone has 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The OnePlus Ace has triple cameras on the rear. The main lens is a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 f/1.88 sensor with an FOV of 84.4°, an 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens with an IMX355 sensor, 119.7° FOV, f/2.2, and a 2MP Macro Sensor, with a GC02M1 f/2.4, FOV 88.8° lens. The selfie lens on the screen is a 16MP, S5K3P9 sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports Dual SIM cards 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band 2.4G/5.1G/5.8GHz, Wi-Fi Display, 2×2 MIMO, MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and NFC. The mobile has a fingerprint reader, a G-sensor, Electronic compass, Gyro, Color temperature sensor, and a Proximity sensor. The OnePlus Ace weighs 186g, and measures 163.3 × 75.5 × 8.2 mm.

OnePlus Ace price in China

The OnePlus Ace price in China starts at RMB 2,499 (about Rs. 30,000) for the 8GB/128GB trim. The 8GB/256GB version costs RMB 2,699 (approx Rs. 32,000), and the 12GB/256GB variant carries a price tag of RMB 2,999 (around Rs. 36,000). The top-end model with 12GB/512GB costs RMB 3,499 (about Rs. 41,000). The device will be available for purchase from April 26th in China.

OnePlus is expected to rebrand the Ace as the OnePlus 10R 5G,  that is set to launch next week in India.
