Samsung Galaxy M33 5G India launch teased on Amazon

Samsung has begun teasing a new phone on Amazon’s website. And though the video teaser does not mention which device is coming, the source code of the page indicates that it is the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G.

The moniker, spotted by MySmartPrice, coincides with a device that was launched today in The Philippines. So, we know everything about it already.

The Galaxy M33 5G sports a 6.6-inches Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a water-drop notch. The screen has a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and supports 120Hz Refresh Rate. The selfie lens housed in the notch is an 8MP f/2.2 front camera.

The smartphone runs on One UI 4.0 based on Android 12, and is powered by an Exynos 1280 5G Octa-Core processor clocked @2.4GHz, an ARM-Mali G68 GPU with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone supports 5G and 4G VoLTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac 2.4G+ 5GHz, VHT80, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and NFC connectivity options. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports Dolby Atmos.

The square-shaped main camera array on the rear panel comprises a 50MP f/1.8 aperture lens, a 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP Macro Sensor, a 2MP Depth Sensor and an LED Flash. The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port, and supports 25W Fast Charging. Sensors on-board the phone include an Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Virtual Light Sensing, and Virtual Proximity Sensing.

The phone measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4mm, weighs 198g, and has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It will be available in Brown, Blue, and Green colours.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G expected price in India

The Galaxy M33 5G has been priced at Php 15,490 in the Philippines, so we expect the device to carry a similar price tag in India, at around Rs. 22,000.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy F23 5G in India at an affordable price of Rs. 15,999.
