Redmi 10 with Snapdragon 680, 50MP camera launched in India

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 10 in India. The 2022 model of the phone is not similar to last year’s global model, and is in fact a rebranded version of the Redmi 10C that was launched recently in Nigeria.

The phone has a 6.7-inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a water-drop notch. The screen supports 60Hz Refresh Rate, 400 nits brightness, has a 20.6:9 Aspect Ratio, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The selfie lens housed in the notch is a 5MP f/2.0 aperture camera.

The Redmi 10 2022 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz, with an Adreno 610 GPU, 5GB/6GB of LPDDR 4x RAM, 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone has a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB of additional storage. It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11.

The rear camera array on the Redmi 10 is home to dual cameras with a 50MP f/1.8 aperture primary lens, a 2MP Depth Sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. Redmi has packed a 6000mAh battery in the phone which supports 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C connector, but only comes with a 10W charger in the box. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker.

In terms of connectivity, the Redmi 10 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU, FM Radio. It has a rear fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and an accelerometer. The device weighs 203g, and measures 169.59 x 76.56 x 9.13mm.

Redmi 10 price in India

The Redmi 10 price starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant in India, while the 6GB/128GB trim costs Rs. 12,999. The phone comes in 3 colour options: Midnight Black, Pacific Blue, and Caribbean Green.

The device will be available for purchase on March 24th at 12 Noon, at Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Studio stores. Buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 1,000 when purchasing the Redmi 10 using a HDFC Bank Credit Card or Credit EMI transaction.
