The Moto G51 5G is set to launch soon in India. The Lenovo-owned company has begun teasing the arrival of the device on social media.

Moto G51 Bright Silver colour

Since it was unveiled globally recently, we know what the phone looks like, and its tech specs.

Motorola has equipped the G51 with a 6.8-inches Full HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the Moto G31, has a 60Hz OLED panel. The phone runs on Android 11, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus processor with an Adreno 619 to handle the graphics. It will reportedly be available in a single variant with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage with a microSD card providing an option to expand the memory up to 512GB.

The phone supports 5G, 4G LTE mobile networks, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac2.4 GHz | 5 GHz, and GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo.

The camera set up on the rear of the Moto G51 is identical to the Moto G31, so the primary lens is a 50 megapixels sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, assisted by an 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The selfie lens on the G51 is also similar to the G31’s, i.e., the front camera is a 13 MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture.

Speaking of similarities, Motorola has managed to pack a 5000mAh on the G51, with 10W charging over a USB Type-C port, just like on the G31. The phone has a fingerprint scanner, a Notification LED, Proximity, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and a Magnetometer (compass). The Motorola G51 weighs 208g, and measures 170.47 x 76.54 x 9.13 mm. The device supports Dolby Atmos, has a Single speaker with smart PA, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be available in 2 colours: Indigo Blue and Bright Silver
