Xiaomi has just announced the Redmi Note 10T 5G in India. Here’s everything you need to know about the budget friendly smartphone.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11, and is equipped with a 6.5-inches DotDisplay Full HD+ panel that has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 1100 nits brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 Color gamut.
The display supports 90Hz Refresh Rate with DynamicSwitch display that switches between 30Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz, has a 1,500:1 Contrast Ratio, and 91% screen-to-body ratio. The selfie camera is an 8MP f/2.0 aperture lens.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. It has an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 950MHz GPU for the graphics, with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone has 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and supports up to 512GB of additional memory via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The main camera set up on the Redmi Note 10T 5G comprises a 48MP lens with an f/1.79 aperture, a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charging. But Xiaomi is including a 22.5W charger in the box. The device supports Hi-Res Audio, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

The Redmi Note 10T 5G price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 15,999.
The phone goes on sale at 12PM on 26th July, at Amazon India and Mi.com. Buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs 1,000 when purchasing the phone with a HDFC Bank Credit Card or EasyEMI transaction.
The specs of the Redmi Note 10T 5G seem good on paper, and will compete with the likes of the Realme Narzo 30 5G. But we think the Redmi Note 10 Pro is still the device to beat in the sub-20K price segment.
