The OnePlus 8 specs have been leaked alongside the OnePlus 8 Pro’s. And there seems to be quite a few differences between the two.

Oneplus 8 Pro Specs

Let’s start with the higher end variant.

OnePlus 8 Pro

The OnePlus 8 Pro sports a 6.78-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display, and this is reportedly a Quad HD+ panel that supports 120Hz refresh rate. According to a leaked render, the device will feature a punch-hole camera design, and this is reportedly a 16MP lens.

It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a 5G modem, 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The phone has quad cameras consisting of a 48MP primary lens, a 48 MP ultra wide-angle lens, an 8MP and 5MP cameras. The OnePlus 8 Pro will be backed by a 4,510 mAh battery that will support 30W fast charging (wired and wireless), and 3W reverse wireless charging. It is IP68 rated for Water resistance. The phone is said to come in 3 colours: Blue, Black and Green.

OnePlus 8 Pro Specs

  • Display: 6.78-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, QHD+
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 + 5G modem
  • Memory: 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0
  • Selfie Camera: 16MP
  • Main Cameras: 48MP primary lens + 48 MP ultra wide-angle lens + 8MP + 5MP, LED Flash
  • Battery: 4,510 mAh, 30W fast charging wired/wireless, 3W reverse wireless charging
  • Misc: IP68 Waterproof
  • Colors: Blue, Black and Green

OnePlus 8

Now for the standard variant. The OnePlus 8 will be equipped with a 6.55-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, but this only has a 90Hz refresh rate. While it will use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a 5G modem, 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage, the OnePlus 8 has 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM as opposed to LPDDR5 on the Pro model.

Oneplus 8 Specs

The battery is smaller on the OnePlus 8, with a 4,300 mAh cell that supports 30W Warp Charging 30T. There is no word about wireless fast charging or IP rating. The selfie camera is identical to the Pro’s, but the OnePlus 8 specs sheet tells a different story about the rear cameras. The device has triple cameras comprising a 48MP primary lens, a 16 MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP lens.

Although the OnePlus 8 specs sheet from Ishan Agarwal doesn’t mention a fingerprint scanner, we think it’s safe to assume that the devices will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus 8 Specs

  • Display: 6.55-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED, 90Hz refresh rate, Full HD+
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 + 5G modem
  • Memory: 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0
  • Selfie Camera: 16MP
  • Main Cameras: 48MP primary lens + 16 MP ultra wide-angle lens + 2MP, LED Flash
  • Battery: 4,300 mAh, 30W Warp Charging 30T
  • Colors: Glow, Black and Green

Going by the OnePlus 8 specs, the phone should be significantly cheaper than the OnePlus 8 Pro. A launch date for the phone hasn’t been announced yet.
