The Redmi K30 Pro 5G and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom have been announced in China. This time, the company has retained the full-screen design of the device.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED E3 display made by Samsung, it has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and has an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The screen supports 800 nits brightness, a Contrast ratio of 5,000,000: 1, 100% DCI-P3 and sRGB color gamut, HDR10+. The display has been certified by TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Care Certification and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is equipped with a 20MP pop-up selfie camera.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with an Adreno 650 GPU with vapour chamber cooling with 6GB/8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
The difference between the Redmi K30 Pro 5G and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is in the optics department. The Redmi K30 Pro zoom edition features quad cameras that support dual optical image stabilization. The setup comprises a 64MP primary lens with a Sony IMX686 sensor, 1/1.7″ sensor size, that supports OIS, 1.6 μm 4 in 1 large pixel size, 7P lens, a 8MP telephoto lens with 30x zoom, that also supports optical image stabilization, a 13MP 123° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP Depth of Field Lens for portrait shots, 1.75 μm large pixels and an LED Flash.
The K30 Pro 5G has a different camera array with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with OIS , a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens with 123° FoV, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.Both devices come with a 4,700 mAh battery that support 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C connector. The Redmi K30 Pro series does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi K30 Pro 5G 6GB/128GB variant has been priced at RMB 2,999 (about Rs. 32,000) . The 8GB/128GB version will cost RMB 3,399 (about Rs. 36,000) while the 8GB/256GB will retail for RMB 3,699 (about Rs. 40,000). The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition price starts at RMB 3,799 (approx Rs. 41,000) for the 128GB variant. The 256GB model carries a price tag of RMB 3,999 (approx Rs. 43,000).
