Realme is set to launch a new series in India, the first of which is a Narzo phone. As if having too many smartphones and launching them too quickly wasn’t bad enough, here we go again.
The news comes via the Oppo sub-brand’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, who posted a video teaser about the upcoming device.

It hints that the Narzo phone could feature a high resolution camera. The teaser’s “Feel the Power” and “Realme ka naya evolution” tags also suggests the device offers great performance and a unique design.
Considering that Realme already offers many devices in various budgets, what could the upcoming device be? More importantly, what’s the point of a new series?
Realme has made an impression in what has been largely a market dominated by Redmi. The smartphone wars between the two brands has become quite intense in the past few months. It even resulted in some rather ugly messages from top executives.
All things said, there is just one conclusion. Let’s face it, the Narzo phone series sounds like it could be Realme’s answer to Xiaomi’s Poco series.
There is no word yet on when the device will be announced, but the teaser says it is coming soon.
