The Redmi 8A Dual has been launched in India. This should not be confused with the Redmi 8A or the Redmi 8.
It’s sort of a hybrid of the two phones. The Redmi 8A Dual has an Aura XGrip design on the back panel, with a mesh texture that’s resistant to fingerprint smudges.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charging over a USB Type C port. But, the phone ships with a standard 5V/2A charger in the box. The Redmi 8A Dual is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with up to 512GB of expandable memory via a dedicated micro SD card slot.
The phone is equipped with a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display with a water-drop notch and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The selfie lens is an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture that supports Face Unlock. The Redmi 8A Dual has two cameras on the back that comprises a 13MP primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, AI, PDAF and a 2MP Depth Sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size and an LED Flash.

Redmi 8A Dual price in India
The Redmi 8A Dual price in India starts at Rs. 6,499 for the 2GB RAM variant, while the 3GB version will cost Rs. 6,999. The phone will be available in 3 colours: Sky White, Sea Blue and Midnight Grey. The device will go on sale at 12PM on 18th February on Amazon India’s website.
