The Nokia 3.1 Android One phone has been launched India. And like the Nokia 5.1, HMD Global has opted to go with a MediaTek chipset for the Nokia 3.1.
The phone features a 5.2-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 2.5 curved display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek 6750N processor, and 2GB/3GB of RAM. The device has 16GB/32GB of internal storage, and a microSD cart slot which supports up to 128GB of expandable memory.
The Nokia 3.1 runs on Android Oreo and will receive three years of monthly security patches, and two years of OS updates. This includes a guaranteed update for Android P. The phone sports a 13MP camera with auto-focus, an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, The selfie lens is an 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture, fixed focus, and an 84.6 degree Field of View.
The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker. Connectivity specs of the Nokia 3.1 include 4G LTE Cat. 4, 150Mbps DL/50Mbps UL, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+Beidou.
The Nokia 3.1 is backed by a 2,990 mAh battery which charges micro-USB 2.0. Sensors on the phone include an Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and a Magnetometer. The phone measures 146.25 x 68.65 x 8.7mm and weighs 138.3g.
Nokia 3.1 Price and availability:
The Nokia 3.1 has been priced at Rs. 10,499, and will be available from July 21st across stores, PayTM and Nokia.com. The device will come in three colours: Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron.
