Vivo is set to unveil a new device Vivo X21 smartphone at an event in China on March 19. The company is already teasing an under-display fingerprint sensor on the phone while not specifying any other details of the device. The device has already surfaced on benchmarking portal Geekbench which suggests that Vivo X21 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 1.84GHz along with RAM up to 6GB running the latest version of Android i.e. Android 8.1 out of the box. The phone is expected to be Vivo’s second smartphone to feature an under-display fingerprint sensor with a bezel-less design after the X20 Plus UD.

Alleged real image of Vivo X21 has now surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo which reveal some of the hardware specifications of the device and confirm earlier rumours. As you can see from the alleged real image of the device below, Vivo X21 features an iPhone X kind of notch at top of the display and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top. Under the hood, it is powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB of RAM. The display is almost bezel-less with a high screen to body ratio.

Apart from this real image, a set of alleged Pres renders of Vivo X21 has also surfaced on Weibo which reveal the front of the device but doesn’t reveal the rear panel. These renders confirm the iPhone X kind of notch at top of the display with a high screen to body ratio but doesn’t reveal any other information.

It sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ IPS display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone is backed by 3260mAh battery.
