Just two days back, we reported that Vivo is set to launch two new smartphones Vivo X9s and X9s Plus with a dual camera at the front along with front flash, which is basically expected to be an upgrade over existing Vivo X9 and X9 Plus. Today, we have the official confirmation of the same and also the official launch date. Vivo through its Weibo account has unveiled a teaser for X9s and X9s Plus which reveals the official launch on July 6.

Apart from the official launch teaser, the company has also released some teasers and we can see a single camera with LED flash at the rear panel. ON the front, the Dual camera is visible along with the Home button at the bottom with the fingerprint sensor embedded in it.

Vivo X9s and X9s Plus with front 20 MP Dual Camera with Flash launching soon

Almost six months back, Vivo launched Vivo X9 and X9 Plus with  20 MP + 8 MP Dual front camera in November 2016 at an event in China. We have already started hearing rumours on Vivo X11 that may succeed the X9, but it seems that the company is ready with an upgrade over the X9 devices and will be launching Vivo X9s & X9s Plus soon in China. Vivo X11 may still be months away from the official launch.

An alleged promotion render image of Vivo X9s and X9s Plus have leaked on the Chinese social network Weibo which reveals the name of the two devices. In addition to the name of the devices, the leaked image also indicates that Vivo X9s and X9s will come with front 20 MP Dual Camera with Front Flash for selfies. The image doesn’t reveal the megapixel of the second camera sensor in the dual camera module at the front, though X9 comes with 20 Mp + 8 MP camera sensors. While both X9 & X9 Plus didn’t have LED Flash at the front, both the X9s & X9s Plus will come with a front flash as mentioned earlier.

As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.

Coming to the existing Vivo X9, it sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 GB of internal storage. It comes with a front dual camera setup of 20 MP + 8 MP camera sensors and a 16 MP main rear camera with LED flash. It is backed by a 3050 mAh Battery.

Whereas, Vivo X9 Plus sports 5.88 inches Full HD 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It comes with a front dual camera setup of 20 MP + 8 MP camera sensors and 16 MP main rear camera with LED flash. It is backed by a 4000 mAh Battery.
