Huawei Honor V9 is official: Kirin 960, 6GB RAM, 3D Photo Support, 4000 mAh battery

As expected, Huawei Honor V9 is now official which is the successor to last year Honor V8. The company didn’t launch V8 in any other market except china last year and it may still be the case with Honor V9. We are still to hear anything about its launch in any other country except China. Honor V9 comes with a model number DUK-AL20 and sports a  5.7 inch 2K display with a pixel density of 515 ppi, powered by Huawei Kirin 960 SOC chip (4 x CortexA53 1.8GHz + 4 x CortexA73 2.4GHz) along with two RAM variants of 4 GB and 6 GB. It comes with 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card.

Honor V9 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system with EMUI 5.0 on top. In terms of camera, it sports the 3rd gen 12 MP f/2.2 dual camera setup which can take photos with Bokeh effect, excellent low light images and richer images. The dual camera setup is capable of capturing 3D creative photos. On the front, you have a 8 MP front shooter for selfies.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 (mm) and weighs 184 grams. IT comes with support for 2G / 3 G / 4G LTE along with VOLTE.

Honor V9 Price

Huawei Honor V9 is priced at 2599 Yuan (~Rs. 26,000 or $380) for the 4 GB + 64GB variant, 2,999 Yuan (~Rs. 30,000 or $440) for the 6 GB + 64 GB variant and 3,499 Yuan (~Rs. 35,000 or $510) for the 6 GB + 128 GB version. It goes on sale on February 28 at 10:00 AM in China.
