Lenovo Phab 2 Plus India launch set for November 8, to be Amazon exclusive

Lenovo announced Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus during their Tech world event in June 2016. Out of these two, Lenovo Phab 2 plus is the premium variant and the company has decided to launch the device in India. The company has started to send media events for the launch event of Phab 2 Plus on November 8 at New Delhi. The invite comes with a tag line ” It’s time to live life phab size” and shows the device in background. The launch invite also indicates that it will be Amazon India exclusive.

It sports a 6.4 inch full-HD 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass, powered by 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8783 octa-core processor with Mali T720 GPU along with 3 GB RAM. It comes with 32 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microSD card up to 128 GB. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vibe UI on top.

In terms of camera, it comes with dual 13 MP main rear camera setup with dual-LED Flash, PDAF, laser auto focus, f/2.0 aperture, Fujitsu Milbeaut ISPs, & 1.34-micron pixels and a 8 MP front shooter for selfies with f/2.2 aperture & 1.4-micron pixels. It is backed by 4,050 mAh battery and weighs 218 grams. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Phab 2 Plus was priced at $299 (~Rs. 20,000) and we can expect Lenovo to price it in similar price range. We will be covering the official launch event in India and will keep you updated.
