InFocus EPIC 1 with Helio X20, 3GB RAM,Fingerprint Scanner, USB Type-C launched for Rs 12,999 in India

InFocus has launched a new phone, called the EPIC 1 in India. The phone kinda lives up to its name, with a flagship MediaTek processor, at an incredibly affordable price.

The InFocus EPIC 1 features a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p LTPS display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device is powered by a Helio X 20 deca-core processor with a tri-cluster architectue comprising of 2 ARM Cortex-A72 cores running at 2.1GHz, a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 cluster running at 1.85GHz, and another quad-core cluster running at 1.4GHz. The phone has 3GB of RAM, a Mali T880 MP4 GPU, comes with 32GB of internal storage and supports up to 128GB of expandable storage.

The EPIC 1 supports 4G LTE with Cat 6 speeds, and has dual Nano SIM card slots. It sports a full metal design, with a rear facing fingerprint scanner, and a 3000 mAh battey which supports quick charging, thanks to the USB Type-C port. It also has an IR Blaster which can be used as a remote control for various appliances like your TV, A/C etc.

The photography hardware on the InFocus EPIC 1 consists of an 8 megapixel front camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and an 82 degree wide angle lens, and a 16 megapixel rear ccamera, with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), dual tone LED flash, Auto Image Stabilization (AIS) , and supports Object Tracking & Dynamic Auto Focus, burst mode (30 shots in under 2 seconds), 4K video recording, slo-mo videos.

The InFocus EPIC 1 has been priced at Rs. 12,999, and will be available from Amazon, starting 25th October 2016. The device will be available in one colour: Gold.
