Motorola, or should we say, Lenovo, has officially unveiled its next budget handset, the Moto E 3. Technically, the phone hasn’t been launched yet, and is just a pre-launch announcement.
The Moto E3 sports a 5-inch 720p HD display, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone is powered by an unknown quad-core processor and comes with a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The phone’s body is supposedly water repellant,
The main lens on the Moto E3 is an 8 megapixel rear camera, while the selfie shooter is a 5 megapixel front camera. The device is backed by a 2,800 mAh battery.
According to Pocket Lint, the Moto E3 has been priced at £99, and will be available in the UK, from Tesco, Amazon, Argos and O2 from September. Likewise, the Moto G4 Play which will be launched in August, has been priced at £129. It shares most of its tech specs with the E3, except that the device is known to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage.
