Yodo1 Games, the developers behind the runaway hit game, Crossy Road, has released a new game on Google Play. The game is called Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari.
It is a hybrid between an endless runner and Zoo Tycoon games.
You will control a character who jumps on to the back of an animal, and continue to ride it, until he is thrown off by the beast. To ride the animal, simply hold your finger on the screen, and to jump onto the back of another animal, lift your finger off the screen. Drag your finger to the left or right to steer the animal, avoid obstacles like rocks, trees and even other animals. It takes a few minutes to get used to the controls, but once you get the knack of it, the game is kind of fun.
The second part of the game is that, any new animal you jump onto, and ride for a few seconds, until it is tamed, becomes your friend. This animal can then be added to its own exhibit, in the Zoo. Any exhibit can be upgraded multiple times, and doing so increases the ability to ride the animal for a longer duration, and more.
You can earn coins for upgrading your zoo’s exhibits, by opening the zoo to visitors. You can also net some coins by completing missions. While the upgrades itself seem to be instantaneous, the cruises, i.e, the visitor safaris themselves have timers.
