The Pokémon company has partnered with gaming giant Ninteno, and Niantic Labs, the former Google owned company behind the popular augmented reality game Ingress.

Nintendo’s former president, the late Satoru Iwata, was involved in the concept  of the game. Speaking of which, players will be able to track Pokémons, train them, trade them with other players and even battle against each other, in augmented real-world settings.

Optionally, a device called Pokémon Go Plus, can be used to help play the game. It is a wearable device, pairs with smartphones using Bluetooth to alert the user about nearby events, using a vibrate function as well through an LED light.
