Lenovo Vibe S1 announced for $299 onwards: Dual front cameras, 3 GB RAM

Lenovo VIBE S1 was announced by Lenovo at the ongoing IFA event in Berlin. The uniquie feature that separates this from other devices is that, it comes with a dual front camera.

The Lenovo VIBE S1 sports a 5.0-inch Full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MT6752 processor supported by 3 GB RAM. In terms of Storage, it comes with 32 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage via micro SD cards up to 128 GB.

The Lenovo VIBE S1  sports 13 MP phase-detection auto-focus rear camera with dual-color flash, BSI sensor and 8 MP primary front camera with BSI sensor and 2 MP secondary front shooter.

The device runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop)  as its operating system. It supports Dual Nano SIM. The weight of the device is 132 gm.

In terms of connectivity, it comes with support for 4G (LTE),802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS

The device is powered by 2500 mAh ( minimum – 2420 mAh) embedded battery.

Apart from these, it also comes with Aluminum frame, front and rear Gorilla Glass 3.

Price and Availability

The VIBE S1 will be available starting November with pricing for the device starts at $299 (USD) which may vary from country to country.
